Turkic-speaking countries, with the aim of increasing their role in the region’s economic and security equations, are seeking to expand strategic cooperation.

The Organization of Turkic States, which began its activities based on shared historical, linguistic, and cultural commonalities, is now putting these collaborations on its agenda. A leaders’ summit of the organization was held in Ankara on Friday.
