The Zaporozhye nuclear power station needs a temporary ceasefire for a safe repair of electrical equipment damaged by Ukrainian attacks at the nearby Zaporozhye thermal power plant, Communications Director Yevgenia Yashina told TASS.

The Zaporozhye thermal power plant transmits electricity from the Ferroalloy-1 line to the nuclear power plant, and its repair will reduce the risks of repeated blackouts.
