The sister of Jaavidan Amir Bayati, by joining the campaign “One candle, one name, one remembrance,” lit a candle for her brother and Jaavidan Sam Afshari. Amir Bayati, 35, was killed on Dey 19, 1404, in Mehrshahr, Karaj, and Sam Afshari, a 17-year-old teenager, was shot on Dey 18 of that year in Azimeh, Karaj. Both were laid to rest in a single grave in the Kālāk cemetery, above Karaj.
