U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on Wednesday, 1 Mehr, shortly after Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of government in the Islamic Republic, delivered his remarks, reacted sharply to his comments about Donald Trump, the U.S. president, and said that the Islamic Republic has no right to comment on international rules or to lecture others.

At a press conference on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, in response to a question about calling Trump a bully and the fact that his remarks on Tuesday, 31 Shahrivar, at the UN General Assembly were inconsistent with the UN Charter as cited by Pezeshkian, he said: “A government that massacres its own people and attacks its neighbors’ national sovereignty, noncombatant areas, and energy infrastructure, and violates the United Nations Charter, has no mandate to comment on international laws and lecture others.”

The head of government in the Islamic Republic described Donald Trump’s remarks as a sign of “bullying temperament and the logic of force,” and said they are inconsistent with the UN Charter.
