⚡The price of each liter of imported premium gasoline in Iran’s Energy Exchange trades today was discovered at 111,000 tomans.

According to IRNA, in these transactions, 240,000 liters of premium imported gasoline were offered by a Petro Refining company and sold at the same base price.

Premium gasoline is a fuel with a higher octane rating that special vehicles use and, unlike subsidized regular gasoline, is not subsidized. Its price is determined freely on the open market in the exchange, which has made it an indicator of the actual fuel cost in Iran.

The upward trend has accelerated. The price per liter was about 80,000 tomans on 8 Tir, 85,000 tomans on 14 Mordad, and 90,000 tomans on 4 Shahrivar. At the beginning of the current year, it was priced at 72,800 tomans, meaning it has become 52% more expensive over the past six months.
