👈The New York Times reports that Saudi Arabia and the UAE intend to increase the volume of their oil reserves in the ports of Yanbu and South Korea significantly.

The aim is to reduce the vulnerability of reserves and oil exports to possible clashes in the Persian Gulf region; that is, some of the oil will be transferred in advance to locations that depend less on the security of the Strait of Hormuz.

The oil-producing countries in the region apparently are no longer only preparing for a crisis; they are also preparing for the disruption of the Strait of Hormuz
