The Information Center of the Commander of Police Forces in Greater Tehran announced that, following the occurrence of a shooting in one of the commercial units on Saadi Street in Tehran, a woman was killed and the shooter, after firing, ended his own life.

According to this center, the incident took place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, 18 Mehr, in one of the arcades in the Saadi Street area.

Based on the police announcement, a man, about 25 years old, by forcibly entering one of the commercial units on the fourth floor of this arcade, shot the female secretary of a company with a handgun.

The woman died as a result of the bullet wounds, and the armed individual also ended his life after the shooting by shooting himself.

In the information released by the Information Center of the Commander of Police Forces in Greater Tehran, no mention was made of the shooter’s motive.
