Abolfazl Khazrayan, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament, said: “There is a possibility that Trump, to prevent the consequences of a likely failure by Republicans in the midterm elections, will carry out a new military action against Iran.”

He added: “Trump may take military action between mid-Aban and mid-Dey, before the new U.S. Congress begins its work.”
