By 2030, it may ultimately be possible to export up to 15 million barrels of crude oil per day through new and expanded pipelines, without passing through the Strait of Hormuz. However, even so, around 10 million barrels of crude oil per day will still have no alternative route for exports. This is only part of the damage that Trump’s war against Iran has caused.
