Sercan Arslan, the founder of the relief organization “Stelp” in Germany, was sentenced to 10 years in prison by a court in Iran. He had traveled to Iran in 2025 for a humanitarian mission and was detained after entering the country.

The Stelp organization, while criticizing the ruling, announced that it is in contact with Turkish officials to secure Arslan’s release.
