🔻Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy: Fire at one of the Aramco refinery facilities in Jazan was contained

The Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy says that a fire at one of the facilities affiliated with the Aramco refinery in Jazan has been contained.

The ministry announced that the fire occurred early Sunday morning, and that Aramco’s industrial security firefighting forces put it out. No one was injured in the incident, and the relevant authorities are currently carrying out additional investigations. The cause of the fire has not yet been announced.

Aramco’s facilities in Jazan have been targeted in recent weeks amid the expansion of regional conflicts. Reuters previously reported that the Houthis targeted the oil facilities in Jazan and Yanbu in July.
