🥈🏋‍♂ In the 88 kg category of para powerlifting, Ruhollah Rustami lifted a 243 kg weight to take second place and win the silver medal.

ℹ With every weight Rustami chose, the Chinese athlete lifted one kilogram more. Rustami first successfully lifted 232, then 237, and at the end cleared 239. He then requested a fourth attempt to break the record and lifted 243, but Yan Panpan lifted 244 to win the gold medal in this para powerlifting category.
