🔺Rubio officially became Donald Trump’s national security adviser

▪Donald Trump, the U.S. president, signed an order appointing Marco Rubio as national security adviser, making permanent a role Rubio had held on a temporary basis since Ordibehesht 1404.

▪According to Fox News, Rubio will remain Secretary of State and will also oversee the National Security Council process.

▪Rubio is the second person in U.S. history to hold both positions at the same time. Before him, Henry Kissinger in the 1970s, under the presidencies of Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, was Secretary of State and national security adviser.

▪Combining these two roles has turned Rubio into one of the most influential members of the Cabinet. According to NBC, he meets with the U.S. president more than most Cabinet members.
