🔸According to these sources, the contract worth $60 to $70 million includes the purchase of 300 to 400 systems of the type “QW-12” and “FN-16,” and is part of Tehran’s efforts to rebuild its short-range air defenses following the war with the United States and Israel.

🔸Reuters says the deal was signed with “Chongqing Baoshang International Investment,” based in Hong Kong; according to the sources, the company served as an intermediary between the Iranian side and the Chinese supplier.

🔸According to these sources, under the plan agreed by the parties, the shipments will first be transported by air from Urumqi in western China and then arrive in Iran via Pakistan. These sources did not specify whether the stage of transfer from Pakistan to Iran will be by air or by land.
