Reports and videos received by Iran International indicate that the sound of fighter jets was heard and that several severe explosions occurred in Ahvaz during the early-morning attacks on Thursday, 8 Mordad.

The intensity of the explosions in some areas caused windows to break.

Some local sources have suggested that these attacks may have targeted areas including Koi Ramadan, Sepidar, Bahonar, Armored Division 92, and the IRGC Intelligence building in Ahvaz.
