Relatives and families of the martyrs Hamidreza Hemati and Habib Khubpour lit candles in their memory and said “Long live Iran.” Habib Khubpour, a 47-year-old mathematics prodigy, was wounded on Dey 18, 1404 (January 8, 2026) in Malkhsar, Isfahan, by gunfire from government forces, and after several days of hospitalization in a hospital, he died.

Hamidreza Hemati, 21 years old, from the city of Likak, a city in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, and a final-term foreign language student at Isfahan University, was abducted in Isfahan on Dey 18, 1404, and after several days, his lifeless body was delivered to his family.
