🔻Qatar: Mediation continues, but no direct dialogue between Iran and the United States has been planned

Qatar says that the efforts of mediators to find a diplomatic solution to the dispute between Iran and the United States are continuing, but no direct dialogue has been planned.

Majed Al Ansari, the spokesperson of Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: “We confirm that the efforts of the mediators with all parties continue.”

He told reporters that the focus of the talks is on “a short-term solution that will help restore dialogue and return to the overall framework of mediation.”

Alongside Pakistan, Qatar is mediating between Iran and the United States.
