🔶 Lawsuit by 25 U.S. states against Trump’s new tariffs

A group of 25 U.S. states led by Democrats has filed a lawsuit against the administration of Donald Trump, the president of the United States, over the imposition of the latest customs tariffs.

The office of Dan Rayfield, Oregon’s attorney general, announced that this legal action is directed against the setting of new tariffs on imported goods from 60 of America’s trading partners.

On July 24, the Trump administration imposed tariffs of 10% and 12.5% against countries and blocs including the European Union.
