Prince Reza Pahlavi, at the second edition of the “Cyrus the Great” event in Toronto, said that the main burden of the struggle for freedom lies with the Iranian people, and that the “Lion and Sun” Revolution has taken root in the deep layers of society.

He added that the events of December 1404 (1404 Dey) were the result of a long path that began with the gatherings on Cyrus’s day in 2016 (1395), and continued with the protests of December 2017 (Dey 96), November 2019 (Aban 98), and the uprising of 2021 (1401).

He also said that during the protests of 18 and 19 Dey, the Islamic Republic, imagining its collapse was close, committed one of the biggest crimes in history. According to Prince Reza Pahlavi, despite changing conditions, today’s opponents of the Islamic Republic are more experienced, more unified, and more resilient than at any other time.
