IRNA reported that five severe and consecutive explosions occurred in the evening on Monday on the island of Qeshm and said that some residents of the island also observed two aircraft in the sky.

According to the report, the explosions in Qeshm occurred continuously and back-to-back, and given their intensity, it appears that the point of impact was inside the island.

IRNA also, citing some Qeshm residents, reported that two aircraft were seen in the sky over the island.

Based on this report, local and provincial sources have not yet made official comments about the cause of the explosions, the exact location where they occurred, or reports regarding the flights of the aircraft.
