Parnian Dabiri’s mother, one of the victims of Dey 1404, has published a video of her daughter playing in the snow and written: “My Parnian was killed on 19 Dey 404. She did not get to experience the snow of 404. She won’t experience snow in this year or in the years to come either. Our happiness ended on 19 Dey. We are breathing, we are alive with deep wounds, endless coughing, and a sense of revenge. Swaying and staggering, we are standing to strike at the root of oppression.”

Parnian Dabiri, 16 years old, a student, was killed on the evening of 19 Dey when she was shot in the back by government officers in Baharestan.
