🔺Pakistan: “Significant progress” achieved in talks with Tehran

▪Pakistan’s interior minister said that the talks between the commander of this country’s army and the Islamic Republic, which focused on the U.S. and Israel’s war against the Islamic Republic and the path to reaching peace, had “made significant progress.”

▪During that one-day trip, which also included Naqvi, Asim Munir met with Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of the Islamic Republic; Mohsen Rezai, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council; Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, the speaker of parliament; Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister; and Eskandar Momeni, the interior minister of the Islamic Republic.

▪Based on the Pakistan Army Public Relations statement, “the comprehensive talks focused on measures to prevent further escalation, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and ending the accelerated hostilities.”
