Oil prices rose again on Tuesday after falling the day before, with Brent returning above $101.

According to Reuters, a barrel of Brent oil for delivery in Aban increased by $1.14 to $101.48. Brent had also reached about $101.70 on Monday morning, but it fell by the end of the day and closed at $100.34.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate also rose, increasing by 87 cents to $96.65.

The market is watching New York, where the possibility of talks between the United States and the Islamic Republic has been raised on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Traders are also focusing on the recent increase in traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
