🔶 Netanyahu: Iran’s regime’s ultimate goal is to attack the United States, not Israel

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, warned that Iran is developing intercontinental ballistic missiles and seeking to obtain nuclear weapons in order to threaten cities in the United States. On Saturday, October 17 (25 Mehr), in an interview with Fox News, he said that the ultimate target of Iran’s government is the United States, not Israel.

The Israeli prime minister added, “Iran’s ambitions go beyond Israel,” and warned that if this government succeeds in destroying Israel, it intends to target both the United States and Europe.

He said the development of long-range missiles and Iran’s efforts to acquire a nuclear arsenal are carried out with the aim of threatening U.S. cities.

Netanyahu said: “They know that if they can destroy Israel, then they can seize the Middle East, take control of the world’s waterways… and then move on to the next target that you are. That’s why they build intercontinental missiles. To reach the United States.”

The Israeli prime minister went on to warn: “This is a government that chants ‘Death to Israel, Death to America.’ Your actual target is you. And I think that with the brilliant leadership of President Trump, both militarily and then through economic pressure, we have made good progress toward achieving this goal.”

In another part of his remarks, Netanyahu said that Iran’s government considers the United States “the Great Satan” and Israel “the Little Satan.”
