Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday, 26 Mehr, during an online session to review the qualifications of the proposed defense minister in the Majlis, that Iran has not attacked any country in the past two centuries and does not intend to attack any country, but will stand against any attack “with power, to the point of death.”

He added that the government, together with the Majlis, the armed forces, and the Iranian people, will not back down in the face of “the excesses and bullying of invading countries.”

Pezeshkian also said that the government will support the proposed defense minister’s plans to improve the living conditions and housing of the armed forces. He added that the country “needs specialists and selfless forces more than at any other time.”
