Masoud Pezeshkian, head of the government of the Islamic Republic, on Tuesday, 31 Shahrivar, on the plane and en route to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly, said he hopes this assembly will help bring an end to “war and bloodshed” and restore trust in the world.

Pezeshkian said he hopes to convey Iran’s positions to the world public and to reveal what he called the “oppressive behavior” of the powers active in the region.

He also, in response to a question about Minab and Larestan in his remarks at the UN General Assembly’s plenary session, said that this is related to the “oppression of Iran’s children,” and described what is happening in the region as “inhumane behavior and deeply regrettable.”
