🔶 Majegharani: The government is not at all satisfied with its own economic performance

Fatemeh Majegharani, the spokesperson for Masoud Pezeshkian’s government, referring to the country’s economic situation, said that the government is “absolutely not satisfied” with its performance in the field of the economy. She added that people are facing economic problems, and the government also knows this reality.

The government spokesperson said: “We still believe that in economic areas, the government is in no way satisfied with its own performance; the reason is that numbers and figures speak to us.”

At the same time, she emphasized that the government is operating under wartime conditions and that the people are aware of these circumstances as well.

Majegharani said that the government, from the very first days, was faced with a special situation.

She added that on the day the president was taking the oath in parliament, the country was on the verge of security-related developments, and the next day, the killing of Ismail Haniyeh took place—an event, according to her, that was “the official beginning of the war.”

The spokesperson described the year 1404 as a “very difficult” year and said: “In 1404, practically and openly, no day passed for the government in peace.”
