The Lithuanian embassy in Kyiv was damaged on Saturday during a Russian missile attack. The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that two missiles landed near the embassy.
Kęstutis Budrys, Lithuania’s foreign minister, said one missile landed 10 meters away and the other 150 meters from the embassy.
In a video message, Budrys said Lithuania will summon the representative of the Russian embassy to protest. He added: “We know this does not stop this madness and aggression against Ukraine.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had earlier mentioned damage to the Lithuanian embassy in the list of losses from this attack.
Russia launched 185 attack drones and 35 missiles during the night attacks, 27 of which were ballistic. At least 9 people were killed and 28 others were injured.
