Kepler Data Analytics, a shipping data analysis company, reported that following the release of reports about attacks on vessels, the transit of ships through the Strait of Hormuz has decreased.

The company added that despite Houthi threats supported by the Islamic Republic, two tankers carrying Saudi Arabia’s oil crossed the Bab el-Mandeb strait over the weekend holidays.

According to Kepler, on Sunday 18 vessels passed through Bab el-Mandeb, while the number had been 27 on Saturday.
