Kayhan newspaper, which is published under the supervision of the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, with reference to Masoud Pezeshkian’s trip to New York to take part in the United Nations General Assembly, wrote: “Turn the United Nations into a court for the prosecution of America. New York is not a place for smiles; it is a place for dragging the aggressor America to heel and reflecting Iran’s voice.”

The newspaper added: “Today, America’s war machine has come to a standstill, and the war inflation has broken the back of Western economies. With Ansarallah’s whirlwind performance and by taking control of the narrow strait of Bab al-Mandeb, alongside Iran’s firm authority over the Strait of Hormuz, the flow of energy and global trade has taken on new equations. Now, the West must be asked: with Iranian and Ansarallah rule over two vital choke points of the world, whose jacket is it, really?”

Kayhan also addressed Pezeshkian, saying: “The UN podium is the best opportunity for plain-spoken remarks to those among the neighbors who have placed their territory and bases at the disposal of America’s war machine. Those same regional lackeys who today play the role of intermediaries but whose hearts are with their master. They must be told that in the event of war, there will be no restraint.”
