Joe Wilson, a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, wrote on the social network X: “I am deeply grateful to Syria for its courageous leadership in providing military aid to the people of Yemen and Saudi Arabia in their fight against extremist Houthi terrorists.”

He added: “Syria has been freed from Iran and will soon also help in the liberation of Yemen from Iran’s rule.”

This U.S. congressional representative called on all people in the region to “act against Iran and its proxy forces.”
