Jassim Mohamed Albudaiwi, secretary-general of the Gulf Cooperation Council, announced in a statement on Monday, 30 Shahrivar, that the council wants the return of maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab to conditions prior to the war.

The secretary-general of the Gulf Cooperation Council said: “We reject any unilateral fees or obstacles to the right of passage.”

Jassim Mohamed Albudaiwi added: “The Islamic Republic’s attacks have targeted vital installations and diplomatic premises of the GCC member countries, while these countries were not a party to the conflicts and have been trying to contain tensions.”
