The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in a statement on the third anniversary of Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel, announced: “Any miscalculation and any action for new war and aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran will be met with a painful and devastating response for the aggressor.”

The statement said the “12-day and 40-day wars” were met with a “decisive and regret-inducing response by the armed forces” and that “the era of cost-free threats has ended.”

The IRGC also referred to “blocking and the resolute management of Iran” at the Strait of Hormuz and wrote: “The Resistance Axis, despite heavy pressures and the martyrdom of its noble commanders, remains firmly in place and steadfast.”

At the end, the IRGC declared that the “path of resistance” will continue “until the liberation of the Noble Quds and the complete destruction” of Israel, and added: “Palestine will be free from the river to the sea.”
