Iran-Oman shipping understanding no green light for Hormuz reopening: Foreign Ministry spokesman

An understanding between Iran and Oman on a new maritime traffic route through the Strait of Hormuz is merely a necessary step for organizing safe vessel passage and does not amount to the reopening of the strategic waterway, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei has said.
