🔸In an Israeli air strike early Saturday, seven people were killed and three were injured in southern Lebanon.

🔸Lebanon’s official news agency reported that Israeli fighter jets targeted a house in the village of “Ansar” in the south of the country.

🔸The strike is considered one of the deadliest Israeli attacks on Lebanon in recent weeks, and comes after Beirut’s agreement with the U.S.-brokered peace framework.

🔸Under this framework, Israeli forces remain in the occupied areas until Hezbollah is disarmed and the Lebanese army is deployed in the south of the country; conditions that Hezbollah, backed by Iran, has rejected as amounting to a “surrender.”
