🔺Human trafficking and human-rights violations by the Islamic Republic and its allies at the drone-production complex in Yelabuga, Russia
▪The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the George W. Bush Institute reported on human-rights violations and human trafficking by four countries of the Islamic Republic, China, Russia, and North Korea at a drone-production complex in the city of Yelabuga in Russia.
▪These two American think tanks noted that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 increased demand for drones, and Russia signed an agreement with the Islamic Republic to produce Shahed drones with Iranian designs on Russian soil.
▪The report argues that the expanding workforce that drives the Alabuga drone-manufacturing facility has become a focal point for gross human-rights violations and human trafficking.
