In Yemen, the Houthis announced on Friday that Saudi Arabia carried out 26 attacks against areas under their control over the past 24 hours.

The Houthis say that the number of Saudi attacks on their positions over the past week has reached 300, and that these attacks targeted different parts of the areas under Houthi control in Yemen.

The war in Yemen, which began in 2014 with the Houthis’ takeover of Sana’a, the capital, had largely stalled from 2022, but intensified again from July.

Saudi Arabia has led, since 2015, a coalition that supports the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
