🔻“Hit by an Unidentified Projectile” on a Cargo Ship in the Strait of Hormuz

The British Maritime Trade Operations Agency says it has received a report of a “unidentified projectile” hitting a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the agency, which is affiliated with the British Navy and oversees the security of shipping, the vessel caught fire and remained adrift in regional waters.

Based on this report, all crew members were moved off the ship, and two people were also injured in the incident.

The British Maritime Trade Operations Agency said that authorities are investigating the incident, which occurred on Wednesday.

According to the agency, no report of environmental damage has been released so far.
