🔸 Hamshahri newspaper, in a report, has said that the non-publication of an audio file from Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei is related to security considerations and the ability of intelligence services to extract sensitive data from audio.

🔸 This newspaper, in a piece in its tenth day-of-Mordad issue, referred to Mojtaba Khamenei as “the third Leader of the Revolution,” and wrote that advanced audio analysis technologies can extract information about the location and time of recording, the equipment used, and even some characteristics of the speaker from a recorded file.

🔸 Based on this report, analysis of sound reflections and acoustic characteristics can be used to estimate the dimensions of a room, ceiling height, the distance of the speaker from the walls, and the material of the surfaces. It also states that fluctuations in the frequency of the power grid, which may be recorded in the audio file, in some cases can make it possible to examine the time and geographical range of the recording.

🔸 Hamshahri also wrote that the technical features of each microphone and recording device, as well as background sounds such as ventilation systems, traffic, and industrial equipment, and the speaker’s breathing pattern and pauses can be used in intelligence investigations.
