Ghasem Rouyanbakhsh, the representative of Qom in parliament, said during a speech in this city: “Forty percent of the revenues obtained from the Strait of Hormuz are allocated to strengthening the armed forces and military infrastructure, and the other 60 percent is intended for the well-being and comfort of the Iranian people.”

He added that the plan related to the Strait of Hormuz has been drafted in 12 articles, and one of its provisions relates to this allocation of the revenues from the Strait of Hormuz.

Rouyanbakhsh added: “Adopting this plan can provide the grounds for the Islamic Republic of Iran to use the existing capacities in the Strait of Hormuz in line with national interests.”
