🔻August 28 marks the anniversary of the birth of the late Mehrdad Moshtaqi. A lively, energetic and handsome young man whom many called “the Alan Delon of Iran.”
🔹The late Mehrdad Moshtaqi, a die-hard fan of independence and Real Madrid, on the evening of Friday, January 9, 1404 AH (19 Dey 1404), in the city of Arak, was severely injured and rendered unconscious when a combat bullet fired by the suppression forces of the Islamic Republic struck his head. He was then taken to the hospital. Mehrdad underwent surgery, but due to brain death and cardiac arrest, he died.
🔹Moshtaqi was among the die-hard fans of Real Madrid, and previously his brother posted, through the sharing of a story, a picture of his grave stone bearing the Real Madrid logo, writing: “His wish was to see a Real Madrid match up close. His wish remained on his grave stone.”
