Full of clashes and incidents; 🤯 In just a few thousandths of a second, the winner was decided
🏎The Baku Grand Prix #Formula1 ended with Mercedes driver George Russell winning by a razor-thin margin. Russell started the race from pole position and finished as the champion. Max Verstappen, who started from eighth, had an intense battle with him and crossed the finish line only 0.196 thousandths of a second later, finishing ahead of his teammate, Hecar, and taking second.
Antonelli, who led the standings and had started from 16th, ultimately managed—given the race incidents—to finish fifth, below Leclerc and above Hamilton’s two drivers who had broken away.
McLaren’s embarrassment in Azerbaijan; Piastri and Norris, who had started from third and fifth respectively, ended up with one finishing 14th and the other being eliminated from the race. Piastri spent a long part of the race in second place.
In this race, seven drivers went out due to collisions and accidents.
