French authorities are silent while police officers are “trampling and roughing up children,” Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Sputnik radio.

The diplomat noted that “it is simply a battle on ice” between police and unarmed children in the heart of Western Europe.
