In the wake of threats by the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces against a number of Persian-language news networks outside Iran and placing them in a “military targets database,” Hanna Neumann, a member of the European Parliament, described these remarks as unacceptable and an example of the Islamic Republic’s “cross-border repression.”
