Fereydoun Nedimi, senior researcher in defense and security affairs, said that U.S. economic pressure on the Islamic Republic could make the continuation of the ceasefire for the United States a “two-edged sword.”
According to him, as economic pressure intensifies, the Islamic Republic is using the opportunity gained to rebuild its military capabilities, and satellite images indicate renewed activity at missile-making factories in Khojir, Parchin, and Shahroud.
Nedimi estimated that the production of ballistic missiles using existing facilities and materials, although at a slower pace than before the war, is again under way.
