Death of the intelligence deputy in Iranshahr

According to Hawalsh, late on the previous day, Wednesday, 7 Mordad 1405, a few hours before 22:30, one of the officials of the Intelligence Office of Iranshahr County, after unknown armed individuals opened fire at his home on Khatam al-Anbiya Street 5 in this city, was shot and died.

The identity of this person is reported by Hawalsh as “Mehran Salarzadeh,” a native of Zahedan and a resident of Iranshahr.

According to Hawalsh sources, the unknown armed men fired several shots at Mehran Salarzadeh at the door of his home, and he died due to the severity of the injuries.

In this regard, the Information Dissemination Center of the Police Command of Sistan and Baluchestan, by issuing a statement, introduced him as a police officer with the rank of second lieutenant.

However, informed sources and people familiar with him have told Hawalsh that Mehran Salarzadeh was the deputy of the Intelligence Office of Iranshahr County and one of the senior intelligence officials in this county, and that, contrary to what was stated in the police notice, he worked within the Intelligence Office.
