Construction at the “Kaleng Gezla” mountain site saw a “significant increase” in 2026

🔸A review of satellite images released on Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar, by analysts at the Center for Strategic and International Studies shows that the “Kaleng Gezla” site, suspected of underground nuclear activity, has seen a significant increase in construction this year.

🔸The site is heavily buried near Natanz, where Western intelligence agencies believe Iran may be building an undeclared enrichment facility at this location.

🔸Donald Trump, the U.S. president, on 13 Shahrivar, within the context of a war with Iran whose stated goal is to destroy Tehran’s nuclear program, again threatened that the United States might soon attack the “Kaleng Gezla” mountain.

🔸Analysts at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington-based think tank, reviewed satellite images of the site covering a six-year period. The latest images are dated Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar.

🔸According to these analysts, the images together show that road activity around Kaleng mountain in 2026 has been greater than at any other time.

🔸They added that the increase in construction can clearly be observed in 2026, with its signs including reinforcing access routes, paving the internal road network, strengthening access points, as well as leveling and collecting materials resulting from concurrent excavations.

🔸However, the analysts said they cannot refute or confirm the claims made by Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, that Iran transferred centrifuges to Kaleng mountain.
