🔸Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, on Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar, during a visit to Israeli forces in southern Syria, said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is on the brink of collapse.

🔸On the Syrian side of Mount Hermon on the border between Israel and Syria, during a visit alongside Israel Katz, Israel’s defense minister, he said: “There are still things to be done; the main mission is the overthrow of the terrorist regime in Iran. We have come very close to it. We know that in the end, this whole axis will collapse.”

🔸Israeli forces have been stationed in southern Syria in a “security zone” since the fall of Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s longtime ruler, in December 2024.

🔸These forces occupy an area that had previously been a buffer zone under UN supervision and that, since 1974, separated Israeli and Syrian forces on the heights of the Golan, which are under Israeli occupation.

🔸Netanyahu once again emphasized: “We will not allow any terrorist army to be stationed on our border.”
