The command of Jordan’s Northern Military Region announced that the country’s border forces on Sunday identified and detained four people while they were attempting to cross the border illegally.

According to the statement, after monitoring these individuals, the border guards acted in accordance with the rules of engagement and handed all four to the relevant authorities to carry out the legal procedures.

The Jordanian army emphasized that it will continue to carry out its mission of protecting the borders and confronting attempts at infiltration and illegal activities within the framework of preserving the country’s security and sovereignty.
