🔻CEO of Iran Oil Products Distribution Company: Gasoline consumption in Tehran province has increased by 30%

Mohammad Sadegh Azimi-far, managing director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, said he has been informed about a significant increase in citizens’ visits to fuel stations in recent days and stated that gasoline consumption in Tehran province has “increased by about 30%.”

According to him, part of this increase in visits was influenced by “rumors that were circulated” about the status of fuel.

Mr. Azimi-far also said that “the process of supplying, transporting, and distributing gasoline across the country continues without disruption, and the fuel supply chain is in a stable condition.”

In recent days, disruptions and temporary closures of some fuel stations in Tehran led to the formation of long lines.
